Charming and fairly clean place, particularly good view of the gardens and river. Warm rooms come with comfortable beds. Well presented food, terrific and outstanding staff who was the general manager. Stunning location for Ayr, short walk to the restaurant as well as the museum. Honestly nothing to complain about.

Text: What a charming hotel with stunning views and top-notch service! The refurbishment is a hit, with the glass wall installation making the most of the iconic setting. Only downside? No air con or fans - because who needs to stay cool in summer?

Stayed in a charming hotel on a recent city break. The location was central, just a short walk from the main tourist attractions and popular restaurants. The hotel was equipped with a beautiful garden that was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms were cozy, clean and well maintained, my favourite feature was the comfortable bed and the fresh flowers that were provided.
Although the hotel provided a range of amenities, it lacked the accessibility needed for visitors with mobility issues. The staircase leading to the rooms was quite narrow.
